Eggs are those dishes that one can have in any way, it may be sweet or spicy. And there is no special time or occasion to have it, whether it be breakfast; (Omelettes, half fry, hosh posh, boiled eggs etc). Or lunch, supper, or dinner like Egg curry, Fried egg rice, variety of salads or in sweets like cakes, cookies etc. They are one of the commonly eaten food groups in the world. Eggs are high in protein & calcium. Hence healthy & nutritious.

Omelette is a quick, healthy breakfast or any meal of the day. It is a dish that is made with eggs blended properly, mostly lightly cooked in heated butter or oil in a frying pan. It is of different varieties like, it can be simple, or can be folded around some cheese, meat or vegetables or some mixture of these, according to tastes of different regions & cuisines. To obtain a fluffy appearance, the egg is beaten with milk, cream or even water. The water vapors trapped with in the swiftly cooked omelette gives it a fluffy bubbly look. Some people even add baking powder to give it even more fat fluffier appearance but I actually dislike it :/

Today I am going to discuss with u how to cook a simple Omelette. Here is the recipe:

Carrot with Peas & Potatoes - (Aalo matar gajar)

Carrotssss--- Favorite of Big Bunny and hence popular among kids.. One of my favorite vegetables cooked with peas & potatoes. :) Carrots mostly available in red color in Pak but they may be orange in color. They are extremely nutritious & rich in anti-oxidants. They can be both served as sweet and savory. In salads, soups, halwa, kheer, juices and list goessss on :)  They are mostly served in winter, when it is the season of both peas & carrots. This dish goes well with roti/naan. This dish has a slight sweet taste due to the juiciness of carrots and peas. Although the sweetness is balanced by the potatoes added.

Now lets move on to the recipe:

Milk Treasure (Sago, Tapioca pearls)

Sago or Tapioca pearls are made from the starch extracted from the center of the Sago palm stems and is used in making of various puddings or soups. This is an exceptional dish, that graces any formal and even informal occasions. Kids love eating sago due to the nice spongy pearl like appearance and love them biting while they slide off in their mouth. This dish is appealing and served warm or cold.
