Fruit Mix - Diet Dessert
8th recipe of diet week is Fruit mix or fruit chaat!!
Extremely healthy n yummacious!!
Before I have discussed with u the following recipes during diet week.
Ingredients:
Honey 2 tbsp.
Melon 3-4 slices chopped
Banana 2 cut into small pieces
Apple 1 Chopped, not peeled. Guys u r on diet! So please get some energy
Watermelon 8-10 small pc
Chaat Masala 1 tsp
Procedure:
Mix all the above mentioned ingredients and enjoy!
P.S. Guys no sugar please.. u r on diet :) And every processed food is bad for u :) Honey tastes much much better. Just close ur eyes and mix :) Believe me it tastes sooo great! My family is like, u r enjoying even when u r on diet lol!!

Chickpea Salad - Diet recipe
7th diet recipe is Chick pea salad.. remember not to exceed 1 cup per meal :) Enjoyyy!!
Tip.. Make green tea ur habit :) Aids in wt loss.
Before I have discussed with u the following recipes during diet week.
Ingredients:
Chickpeas 1 cup boiled
Iceberg 1 bunch (Chopped)
Tomato 2 chopped
Onion 1 chopped
Cucumber 1 peeled, chopped
Parsley/ Coriander leaves 1 bunch (Chopped)
Lemon 2 tbsp.
Olive Oil 3 tsp.
Salt 1/2 tsp
Black Pepper 1/2 tsp
Chaat Masala 1/2 tsp

Baked Chicken Drumsticks
Today again m gonna discuss main meal for diet, which is the 6th recipe for Diet Week..
Baked Drumsticks
Chicken is one of the important and wonderful meal u can have for diet.. there are different ways for cooking chicken. Deep frying- of course forbidden during diet. Grilling - allowed. Pan fry - allowed.. u can use 2tsp/person olive oil for frying. But today I am going to discuss how to bake chicken-drumsticks.
Before I have discussed with u the following recipes during diet week.
This recipe is both for diet and non-diet frnds :)
Serves : 4 ppl on diet lol. Yes on diet ppl can have only 1 drumstick per meal, of course accompanied by healthy salads :)

Baked Fish
Fish is one of the important and wonderful meal u can have for diet.. there are different ways for cooking fish. Deep frying- ofcourse forbidden during diet. Grilling - allowed. Pan fry - allowed.. u can use 2tsp/person olive oil for frying. But today I am going to discuss how to bake fish.
Before I have discussed with u the following recipes during diet week.
This recipe is both for diet and non-diet frnds :)
Serves : 2
Ingredients:
Fish 1/2 kg
Garlic Paste 1 tbsp.
Red chili powder 1 tsp.
Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp
Salt 1 tsp.
Cumin Powder 1 tsp.
Lemon Juice 3-4 tbsp.
Oil 1 tbsp.
(Olive or coconut Oil for those on diet)
Procedure:
Pre-heat oven at 220 C.
Remove scales, wash the fish properly, make deep cuts by knife, marinate the fish by above mentioned ingredients except oil, cover and refrigerate for 4-5 hrs or preferably overnight. I used whole fish. U can use any type. I used Rahu :)
Brush it with oil on both sides of the fish.
Bake for 20- 25 minutes or until the fish is done. Enjoyyy !!

Chicken and Lentils Soup - Diet Haleem
And here we go for our 3rd recipe for the Diet week for lunch..U can have a bit healthy lunch.. so that dinner goes light :)
Chicken and Lentils Soup - Diet Haleem
Haleem is actually a stew made with meat, lentils, rice, wheat and barley. As rice and wheat should be avoided as much as possible, so I discovered a diet version of this haleem. Which almost tastes as yummacious as the original haleem :)
Before I have discussed with u :
Today's tip for diet is .. to control the portions u are having for meals.. Don't eat to full ur stomach properly. Eat only when u are hungry.
Completely cut off junk food!
Now lets move on to the recipe:
Ingredients:
Chicken 250 gm (Boiled, shredded)
Gram Lentil (Chanay ki daal) 1 cup (washed and soaked for 4-5 hrs)
Split red Lentil (Masoor ki daal)
White Lentil (Maash ki daal)
Split yellow Lentil (Moong ki daal)
Gram Lentil (Chanay ki daal) 1 cup (washed and soaked for 4-5 hrs)

Split yellow Lentil (Moong ki daal)
Onions 1 large sliced
Tomato 2 medium chopped
Green Chili 2-3
Red Chili powder ½ tbsp.
Turmeric Powder ¼ tsp.
Garlic Paste 1/2 tbsp.
Ginger Paste 1/2 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp. or to taste
Cumin Powder (Zeera) ½ tsp.
Coriander Powder 1/2 tsp.
Clove (Long) 1
Whole Black Pepper 2-3
Cardamom Pod (bari ilaychi) 1
Cinnamon (Daar Cheeni) 1 Stick
Lemon 1-2 tbsp
For tempering
Onions 1 large sliced
Olive Oil (Best for dieting) Shouldn't exceed 2 tsp per serving, as this dish will serve about 4-6

1st of all wash the lentils and soak them all in water for 4-5 hrs.
2nd ly wash chicken and keep it on medium heat for boiling. U can add 2-3 pinch of salt and black pepper. Once boiled, shred the chicken pieces.

Next take a pan and add the soaked lentils, leftover chicken stock and about 3-4 glasses of water, quite enuf to soak the lentils. Keep them on low heat for 4-5 hrs. Until the lentils are properly boiled and done. When the lentils are about to get done, add onion, tomatoes and rest of the spices mentioned above. Keep stiring it properly with the hand blender. When all the lentils have been in the form of thick paste.. add shredded boiled chicken too. Keep stirring and stirring. U can also blend the lentils in blender.
Now keep on stirring for 15-20 minutes on low flame, until the soup or haleem is done.
When ready.. sprinkle whole spices powder on top. Garnish with coriander and mint leaves.
Serve with:
Chopped ginger
Fried onions (in very little olive or coconut oil)
Chopped green chilies
Lemon Juice
Chaat Masala
Believe me its extremely tasty.. fill it with lemon juice, that aids weight loss too :)

Okiee guys second recipe of diet week is ' Half fry without oil ' ... Oay!! How is it possibleee!! yeshh it is my dear.. :) Although I discourage the yolk during diet, cox it has a high cholesterol and calorie content.. but let u beginners have it lol :)

Pomegranate Potato Salad
Salad is a most wanted, ready to eat side-dish made of several healthy ingredients. It is mostly served chilled or can also be served at room temperature. It has many nutrients essential for us like iron, proteins, minerals, vitamins, fibers etc. Most raw vegetables are really good for health. Because cooking actually destroys the real vitamins in them. Although vegetables can also be cooked or boiled. It is one of the favorite dish for diet watchers!! Guess what?? A simple one cup of green salad has ONLY 16 calories.. Oh yesss!!! Dieting is very easy with salads!! Yuppie ;) I love to have this refreshing salad, when I get weight conscious : ( Eating raw vegetables makes me feel very clean and healthy. Mostly salads are made of raw vegetables but fruits & other boiled and cooked things can also be used. Some salads are served with dressing & sauce. One of the favorite seasoning is also of the olive oil. They can be served at any point during meal.

Pom - Banana Smoothie
The delicious recipe which I have sent to Monu is a smoothie :) Pom - Banana Smoothie. It consists of pomegranate, banana and nuts and of course milk :) A smoothie is a sweetened and a great beverage made from really fresh fruits and in some cases can contain chocolate, maple syrup & peanut butter. In addition to fresh fruits, many smoothies contain crushed ice, yogurt, milk, ice cream, frozen fruit, honey, cream, nuts or can also contain ice ingredients & syrup. They have actually milk-shake like consistency which is much thicker than slush drinks.
