Lets move on to the recipe:
Serves: 1
Ingredients:
Eggs 1
Salt 1/4 tsp.
Black Pepper 1/4 tsp
Water 2 tbsp.
Oil 1 tsp (preferably Olive oil) - Optional
Water 2 tbsp.
Oil 1 tsp (preferably Olive oil) - Optional
Procedure:
Heat a non-stick pan just below medium heat. After few minutes spread 1 tsp olive oil all over the pan.
Don't turn too high otherwise it will burn the oil and egg too :) Although oil is optional. You can omit it!!!
Crack in an egg gently making sure the yolk doesn't break. Turn the heat down. Then wait for the white of the egg to change color from transparent to white.

Crack in an egg gently making sure the yolk doesn't break. Turn the heat down. Then wait for the white of the egg to change color from transparent to white.
After 1 or two minutes of cooking, take the cover of the pan & put appox. 1-2 tbsps of water into its underside. Pour this water into the pan, and not directly over the eggs. The put the lid onto the frying pan and cook the eggs for 4-7 minute, depending on the heat.
The water will create a hood/layer over the egg yolks. :) Observe the hardness of the yolk by lifting the lid from time to time. When the desired doneness is near, remove the lid, so that the rest water may evaporate.
Use a spatula to lift the eggs n transfer into plate.
Season with salt & black pepper. Serve with diet tea :)
Tip: Use refrigerated eggs to avoid egg yolk from breaking. Non refrigerated one's tend to break more as compared to others.
