Rose chicken is one of the delicious recipes I learnt from a cooking show on TV. Though I don't know why its called Rose chicken lol!!! Lets move onto the recipe:
Ingredients:
Chicken 1 kg
Salt 1 & 1/2 tsp
Turmeric 1 tsp
Salt 1 & 1/2 tsp
Turmeric 1 tsp
Oil 1/2 cup
Garlic Paste 1 1/2 tsp.
Ginger Paste 1 1/2 tsp.
Dried Red Chili 10
Cumin Seeds (Zeera) 1 tsp
Black mustard seeds - Rai 1 tsp
Curry Leaves 5 - 10
Salt 1 tsp.
Black pepper 10- 12
Fennel seeds (Saunf) 1 tsp
Coconut powder 2 tbsp.
Water 1-2 cups
Tomatoes 2 - 3 large
Lemon Juice 1/4 cup (original recipe had 1/2 cup)
Black mustard seeds - Rai 1 tsp
Curry Leaves 5 - 10
Salt 1 tsp.
Black pepper 10- 12
Fennel seeds (Saunf) 1 tsp
Coconut powder 2 tbsp.
Water 1-2 cups
Tomatoes 2 - 3 large
Lemon Juice 1/4 cup (original recipe had 1/2 cup)
Coriander Leaves (dhanyia) 1 bunch chopped
Green chili 5 - 8 (Chopped)

Procedure:
First of all marinate chicken in salt & turmeric and set aside for 4 hrs. Next, Heat oil in a pan, and add the marinated chicken & fry on low-medium heat until it changes color and all its water has dried up.
Next add the ginger & garlic paste and all of the spices (Cumin seeds, dried red chili, black pepper, fennel seeds, curry leaves & black mustard seeds- rai) & coconut powder. Fry for few minutes.
Now add chopped tomatoes & water on high flame & fry for few minutes. Next cover & cook until all the water has dried & a paste has formed & chicken is done :)
At end add lemon juice, coriander leaves & chopped green chilies & cover n cook on low flame for 10 more minutes until oil has separated.
Delicious & spicy Rose Chicken is ready. Serve with naan or chapati or boiled rice! :)
