Before I have told u some varieties of vermicelli like;
Sweet Colored Vermicelli
Vermicelli Pudding
Sheer khurma
Serves: 2-3
Ingredients:
Milk (w/ sugar 8-10 tbsp.) 1 liter boiled
Oil or butter 2 + 1 tbsp.
Oil or butter 2 + 1 tbsp.
Vermicelli 100 gm
Cashew nuts Few crushed (15)
Almonds Few crushed (12)
Chawaray (Dry dates) 8 chopped
Currants (kishmish) 1 tbsp.
Coconut Few crushed
Currants (kishmish) 1 tbsp.
Coconut Few crushed
Choti Ilaychi (Green cardamom pods) 6
Rice flour 4 tbsp.
Rice flour 4 tbsp.
Procedure:
Fry vermicelli along with crushed nuts until it turns a bit golden brown or gives a pleasant fragrance. Pour them into the boiled milk. Add rice flour too, which is the main ingredient in this pudding as it will give quite a gud n thick consistency. Wait till it boils or until the vermicelli are cooked and eatable, and the milk is almost half of the original quantity. Let it cook for 15 minutes. Serve hot or refrigerate the vermicelli and serve cold if u want. :) It tastes yooo :P !!
