This simple yet best pancakes recipe had been in my drafts since a month.. I am really sorry Hani for delaying it so much.. Due to tragic incidents at my homeland.. wasn't feeling like blogging.. I guess now I'll be back on track soon IA.. Lets see how the recipe goes:
Makes about 6-8 pancakes
Butter/Oil 2 tbsp.
Sugar (Grinded) 4 tbsp.
Eggs 1 (large)
Plain Flour 1 cup
Baking Powder 1 1/2 tsp
Milk 3/4 cup
Take a bowl & whisk or beat the eggs properly until fluffy. Next add melted butter & sugar & beat again :)
Then take another bowl and mix together plain flour & baking powder. Next add all the dry ingredients + milk in the above mixture & whisk properly. Don't over mix. Let this batter rest for about 15 minutes.
Heat a flat pan and add a tbsp. of butter or oil on the pan. Next pour a big scoop of the batter on to the hot pan & let it spread into round shape itself. Don't spread it yourself.
Let it cook on medium heat for about 2 minutes or until bubbles start to form on top.
Now, gently flip the pancake & cook for about 2 more minutes. Keep adjusting the heat & cook until it turns golden brown. Don't press the pancake while frying it. Yummy & fluffy pancakes are ready!!
Repeat the same with remaining batter using more oil or butter as needed.
Serve hot with topping of ur choice =)
Some of the toppings u can serve pancakes with are:
- Maple Syrup
