My 1st Event Announcement - Back to School Lunch Ideas
This is the first time I am hosting any event :) It took a lot of time and courage to start this event :P lol... Thanks to all my supporters & blogger friends :) Hope I get a good response :)
Couple of days back, while having evening tea, me & my hubby were talking about our school life. We were discussing how difficult it was to go back to school after summer vacations :( Suddenly an idea came to our mind that lets hold an event on "Back to School Lunch Ideas".. yess!! our very 1st Event Masha Allah =))
School going kids have always been giving their moms headaches about the lunchbox. It has always been a deadlock situation: kids not wanting to eat what their moms have given in their lunchbox and moms not allowing their kids to have the unhealthy junk food available at school canteen and compromising on their health and fitness.
Aim of this event is to share some healthy, finger licking and attractive recipes that Kids will love to have in their lunch box :) Soooo.. Lets beginnn =)
This Event runs from 19th August to 10th September :)
Now lets discuss some RULES :)
* All the entries must be linked to my this Event Announcement page "Back to School Lunch Ideas", with the post entry. This is COMPULSORY. Entry posted without my Announcement page link won't be accepted.
* Use of logo is not mandatory, but recommended :)
* Multiple entries will be most welcomed.
* Non- bloggers can also participate. All u have to do is to just send me ur Name, Recipe & its pic to my email ID: medicalprob@gmail.com
* 3 winners will be selected with the most attractive recipes for kids by me & my hubby lol :P Believe me, we will judge from an eye of a kid.. hehe =)
All the besttttt!!

Home made Butter
Why waste fresh cream?? Lets make butter :)
Ingredients:
Cold Water (In summer) 2 cups
Warm water (In winters)
A blender =)
A blender =)
Procedure:
To make home made butter is really an easyyyy task :) Why prefer preservatives and artificially made butter when it can easily be made at home with pure ingredients.
Almost all of u drink fresh milk daily, and after boiling the milk and cooling it down, u get a plenty of clotted cream on the top. Mostly people don't get it what to do with cream, throw it away or whattt?? Lemme tell u a precious tip - To make butter.
What u should do is to start gathering all the cream in a container. This skimmed cream should be freezed daily. When u get plenty of it, like a cup or two, butter is ready to be made :)
Below is shown some of the cream :)

Now what u have to do is to pour cream (say half cup) in the blender, and appox. 2 cups of water (Cold in summer, n slightly warm in winter) and simply start blending! Yes yess its that simple lol :)
Note: There is no fixed amount of cream and water that is to be used for making butter.
Now.. Start blending at intervals.. for like 30 seconds.. and wait until butter lumps start floating above the buttermilk :) All the butter will come at top in the form lumps.. when u see a clear white water beneath the lumps.. butter is ready :))
Just take a spoon and scoop out all the butter out of the blender into the bowl. U can discard the buttermilk or use it for the next batch of cream :) (Although u can also use it as a Whey - Lassi by adding a pinch of salt).
Squeeze all water out of the butter.. and here u goo...yumm!!
U can store in fridge for a week or u can freeze it for months :))
