This dish is mostly cooked at dinner. When u are tired and don't wish to go for a out of way recipe, just grab some onion, tomatoes, spices & chicken and make this really easy and yummacious dish. :) Here goes the recipe:
Ingredients:
Chicken 250 gm (1/4 kg)
Oil 2 wooden spoon (doi)
Onions 2 big (sliced)
Garlic Paste 1/2 tsp.
Ginger Paste 1/2 tsp.
Tomato puree 3 peeled, blended
Green Chili 5 (chopped)
Red Chili powder 1 tsp.
Turmeric Powder 1/4 tsp.
Salt 1/2 tsp.
Cumin Seeds (Zeera) 1 tsp.
Whole spices powder 1 tsp
Whole spices powder 1 tsp
Yogurt 2 tbsp.
Coriander Leaves (dhanyia) Few
Maythi (Fenugreek) Seeds Few
Whole Spices Powder 1 tsp
Whole Spices Powder 1 tsp
Procedure:
Heat oil, and add the fenugreek seeds, followed by onions. Fry until golden brown. Next add ginger garlic paste. Fry.
Add chicken & fry until chicken changes color.
Then add tomato puree, all the spices except whole spices powder. Then add sauces, vinegar, green chili & yogurt. Fry for few minutes. Cover the lid for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is well cooked & oil separates.
Keep gravy of ur choice. In the end garnish with all spices powder (garam masala) and coriander leaves.
Delicious & spicy chicken karahi is ready!! Enjoyyy with naan or chapati or boil rice! :)
