Green Salad (Kachumbari)

Salad is a most popular item on the table in any meal, be it at home or in any restaurant. Whether served chilled or at room temperature, it is something everyone loves to have irrespective of meal timings. I love to have this delicious salad, when I get weight conscious : (
Eating raw vegetables makes me feel very healthy & energetic. If you are worried about ur calorie count, you would love to consume salads only!! Do you know??? 1 cup of green salad easily fills ur stomach and have ONLY 16 calories. Just have a cup of green salads whenever u feel hungry and dieting is no big issue!! woooo ;). The ingredients of a typical salad may comprise only raw vegetables and/or fruits or boiled items. Salads can also be served with dressing & sauce. Here is the simplest form of salad one can have, no cooking required at all.The green salad/ kachumbari is a treat to have on ur table.

Green Salad or Kachumbari is a fresh tomato & onion salad that is popular in Asian & African Great Lakes region. It can be used as a side dish for different meals. I prefer to have it with rice! yumm! It is an uncooked salad & simple & easy to make in short time <3

Ingredients:

1 cucumber Chopped
1 tomato Chopped
1 onion Chopped
1/2 cabbage Chopped
Pinch Salt
Pinch Black pepper
Few drops of vinegar

Mix all & serve :)
