Chowmein are stir- fried noodles, the name being an English language corruption of the Chinese Chao mian.. Although it is particularly popular in US and Britannia. They are versatile and there are so many ways to prepare them, stir fry, pan fry, steamed, dry etc.

Today I am going to discuss with u the recipe of Vegetable Chow mein :

Ingredients:

Spaghetti                                            1/2 packet (boiled in little salty water) - I prefer bake parlor brand
Carrot                                                2 (chopped finely)
Cabbage                                            1 cup, small sized (chopped)
Tomato                                              1 medium sized (Diced)
Capsicum                                           1 small (chopped)
Onion                                                 1 big (sliced)
Green chili                                           2
Olives                                                 1/4 cup chopped
Black Pepper                                      1 tsp.
Salt                                                     1/2 tsp.
Ketchup                                              5-6 tbsp. or to ur taste
Garlic Ginger paste                              1 tsp.
Soya and Chili sauce                            4 tbsp
Olive Oil                                              4 tbsp.
Vinegar                                                2 tbsp.

Procedure:

First of all boil spaghetti in 10-12 glasses of water and set aside. Add salt according to taste (about 2 tsp.) and oil so that the spaghetti don't stick to each other.

Next fry the boiled spaghetti in 2 tbsp olive oil and set aside.

Next chop all the vegetables as shown;

Next heat 2 tbsp. oil and fry the sliced onions until they loose their strength. DON'T turn them golden brown. Then add garlic and ginger paste, chopped cabbage, capsicum, green chili, carrots, olives and tomato and fry for few more minutes or until they start losing their strength. Add salt and black pepper. Then add ketchup, sauces, vinegar and fry for few more minutes;

Next add fried spaghetti and toss them and then cover the pan's lid on low heat for 10-15 minutes. And u r doneee!! They taste extremely yummacious!! Enjoy! :)
