Semolina Dessert (Sooji ka halwa)

Breakfast, Desserts & Sweets, Pakistani Desserts, Semolina, Puddings, Halwa, Sooji, Nuts

Halwas are the special kind of desserts made traditionally with ghee (Clarified butter). The word Halwa has come from the Arab culture. There are variety of halwas in Pakistan, like Carrots halwa, Gram flour halwa, etc.

Semolina Pudding (Sooji ka halwa) is especially famous in Pakistan & India at sundays with pooris for breakfast :) or on festivals/special occasions like Eid. It can also be used as a dessert! It tastes yumm :) It is called "Kesari" in Hindi. Its traditional recipe. Its so tasty n healthy when consumed in moderation. Its one of the best sweet dishes which u can offer to guests, in emergency. Cox the main ingredients required are semolina (Sooji) and water lol :D you can even give them to little babies in weaning age, but make sure to keep it bit liquid in consistency :)

It's really easy to cook, here is my mother in laws yummiest recipe :)
